Thriller mayhem continues to the UK’s Big Brother house!

Everyone is doing it these days, even the folks over in the UK's Big Brother house! As part of a weekly task last week, contestants in the UK’s Big Brother house had to learn and perform the dance to Thriller. With just two days in which to learn the routine, it seems that they did a pretty good job, the end performance isn’t perfect but it definitely has great lashings of zombie all over it with a fantastic set. It’s great!

We’re not sure what DVD they used to learn the dance but you can catch a bit of it in another video.Looks pretty good, but then of course anyone can learn the dance to Thriller right here on www.thrilltheworld.com, with our very own free video lessons!

Students in the UK set a new Thriller dancing record!

The challenge is on once again! A new world record has been set, doubling the last record held! With all the excitement of getting the new site up and running, we’d managed to completely miss some awesome news… A brand new world record has been set for the worlds largest number of people dancing to Thriller! (at the same place, at the same time...)

As you probably know - the previous world record was of course set by Thrill The World founder, Ines Markeljevic back in 2006, with 62 dancing zombies in Toronto, Canada.

This time, a secondary school in Enfield, UK has smashed the record with 147 dancers; with 500 plus zombies as extras. Students and staff from Highlands School in Grange park, plus three local primary schools all took part and raised £750 for the Teenage Cancer Trust Charity. Fantastic work!

The school says that this record is ‘official’ and that they now proudly sit in the Guinness World book of Records. As always, YouTube has some evidence…

A massive ‘well done’ to everyone involved, it looks great! And remember, the race is on for the next record to be set!

Inmates Thriller Dance - The YouTube Classic

Ok, time for another trip down internet memory lane. It's those inmates doing the dance...So, you commit a few crimes and find yourself in prison. What are you going to do with all that time? How will you give something back to the world?

Why, you learn the dance to Thriller of course! Film the whole thing and put it on to YouTube!

The idea is simply too simple to not be amazing. Over 1500 CPDRC inmates of the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center, Cebu in the Philippines learnt and performed the dance for, well - for fun. The result is pretty impressive, the dancing is great with some very snappy timing.

And with all the ‘zombies’ in those bright orange overalls, they add a special something to the scene in contrast to the chap dressed up as the girl from the video.

A true internet classic!

Darth Vader seen dancing to Thriller

It seems that these days, nearly everyone fancies a bit of Thriller. Even the mightly Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Vader fancies a run through now and then.Cheese-o-rama time!

This rather good Star Wars dance-off features none other than the Dark Lord himself, Darth Vader. He comes in as the final act and wipes the stage clean with a rather damn fine ’Power of the Force‘ version of Michael Jacksons’ Thriller. The girls dancing to Cindy Lauper didn’t really stand a chance…

The Emporers laugh at the end finishes it off beautifully.

Indian Thriller - The YouTube classic

Is there a scarier video out there? Look at his EYES!Since it’s creation, internet video site YouTube has given it’s viewers the power to watch all kinds of things that just wouldn’t be possible without the power of the Internet. It is for this, that we are truly grateful, because otherwise we’d never have seen the Indian Thriller video.

It’s a total YouTube classic - crazed Indian chap with yellow eyes dances an utterly insane version of Thriller.

You could call it Thriller “on acid”, it makes perfect sense.

There is also an equally hilarious version with English subtitles…
