This year’s Thrill The World will be taking place on:
Sunday, October 25th 2009, 12:30 am UTC/GMT (midnight of what we consider to be Saturday but is technically Sunday)
which will be Saturday, October 24th for some parts of the world.
EVENT REGISTRATION for the 2009 event is now closed, as of midnight EST (Toronto, Canada) Thursday, October 22, 2009.
You are welcome to dance with us at Thrill Time but due to the processing work that happens at the headquarters level of Thrill The World, but we cannot count you in world records.
We encourage you to start planning for next year’s event: Sunday, October 24, 2010, 04:30am GMT/UTC
This means that parts of the world dance on Saturday: Los Angeles, USA at 9:30pm; Hawaii, USA 6:30pm; and parts of the world dance on Sunday: Toronto, Canada at 12:30am=midnight; China at 12:30pm=noon; Germany at 06:30am. All world times will be listed on the website when information is available. This chart takes a long time to create so for now go to http://www.timeanddate.com to use the Time Zone Converter option with ‘Sunday, October 24, 2010, 04:30am GMT/UTC’ as your ‘fixed time.’
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Regions of the UK that observe British Savings Time (BST) will dance at 1:30 am b/c GMT is not London-time during BST. This means that people is BST will be setting their clocks BACK 1 hour AFTER the Thrill Dance, meaning when it says 2am in England they will have to set their clock to 1am! Other parts of the world also have Daylight Savings adjustments so see our WORLD THRILL TIMES Full Chart which will be posted soon.
