With all the excitement of getting the new site up and running, we’d managed to completely miss some awesome news… A brand new world record has been set for the worlds largest number of people dancing to Thriller! (at the same place, at the same time...)
As you probably know - the previous world record was of course set by Thrill The World founder, Ines Markeljevic back in 2006, with 62 dancing zombies in Toronto, Canada.
This time, a secondary school in Enfield, UK has smashed the record with 147 dancers; with 500 plus zombies as extras. Students and staff from Highlands School in Grange park, plus three local primary schools all took part and raised £750 for the Teenage Cancer Trust Charity. Fantastic work!
The school says that this record is ‘official’ and that they now proudly sit in the Guinness World book of Records. As always, YouTube has some evidence…
A massive ‘well done’ to everyone involved, it looks great! And remember, the race is on for the next record to be set!
